Our French courses

The Intensive course covers one topic a day in detail: vocabulary, a grammar point, a short reading, a speaking task, a video and an optional five-question test. Start at your level; a new day unlocks every day at midnight (Paris time). Six levels, A1 to C2, and all of them are free. A1 starts with Day 0, the alphabet, numbers, days, months and seasons with pronunciation for every word.

How every level works

  1. Placement check (A2 and above): when you register, a short check on the level below makes sure you start at the right level. Score 60% or more and you start the level you chose.
  2. One lesson a day, each with a short daily test. A new day unlocks every day at midnight (Paris time).
  3. Move up automatically: attempt every daily test of the level with an average of 75% or more, and the next level opens after the last day.
  4. 4 final tests on the last day: 40 questions each on grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing and speaking (by voice). Your result shows exactly which topics to revise and which days teach them.
